Revises the daily minimum wages for unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled and highly skilled workers in the scheduled employments, with a list of jobs in each category.

Professional Tax
Professional Tax in Sikkim
A state levy that employers deduct from salaries and pay to the state, at the slabs of the state where the employee works.
Levied, top band ₹200 a month
Salaries up to ₹20,000 a month pay nothing, then ₹125 up to ₹30,000, ₹150 up to ₹40,000 and ₹200 above that, as the tax department's schedule gives it. The Act's 2006 text printed ₹50 for the middle band. Returns are quarterly.
Labour Welfare Fund
Labour Welfare Fund in Sikkim
A small contribution from employees and employers to the state's welfare board, paid in the months the state's Act names.
